Week 1 was a return of many old faces having a great time on the field. Two of the 3 games played were decided by one single point with the excitement lasting till the final seconds. This week the schedule brings some more interesting matchups.
9 AM: Imaan vs Ballers –
Imaan featured some roster consistency but definitely added some key players this season. Greg led the charge as QB and showed enough offensive talent behind a solid defensive lineup in week one win over the Underdogs. The Ballers had many similar faces but looked rejuvenated with Umair doing a great job of leading the offensive attack. In this contest we expect the Ballers to start well and show that week one was no fluke. Ballers defensive unit will stymie the Imaan offense.
Ballers 26– Imaan 13
10:15 AM: Underdogs vs Halal Bros-
The ‘Dogs looked out of wack in week one with critical errors, yet still were one two point conversion from winning the contest. The Halal Bro’s put together a terrific effort to be outdone on the last second themselves. This will be a rebound game for both teams after a painful ending. We expect this to be an old-fashioned beat down with the young ‘Dogs not standing much of a chance.
Halal Bros 35- Underdogs 14
11:30 AM: AK vs All Day-
This is the game of the week! AK lost via forfeit in week one with some things out of their hands. All Day had a brilliant last second win against HB. All Day looked in midseason form in week one and we don’t expect anything less all season. The target will be on their back and AK will look for the early season victory, but we expect them to fall short.
All Day 34- AK 27
12:45 PM: Niners vs Caliphs-
The Niners brought a very watered down version of their roster in week one. The Caliphs didn’t play in week one due to forfeit. We expect this game to start slow with both teams finding their footing. In the second half the Niners will pull away for a comfortable win.
Niners 27– Caliphs 13
